PredatorTour 2025 – our full tournament film and the fight for a full card

The PredatorTour 2025 is one of the most challenging predator fishing tournaments in the Netherlands. For three days, everything revolves around strategy, adaptation and completing a full card: pike, zander and perch.

In this video you follow Team JAROCELLS through their entire journey through the PredatorTour 2025 — from preparation to the last, nerve-wracking moments on the water.

PredatorTour 2025: starting without an advantage

The PredatorTour takes place right after the closed season. That means:

  • barely any pre-fishing
  • no clear patterns
  • everyone starts on equal footing

And that’s exactly what makes this edition of the PredatorTour 2025 so interesting. No shortcuts, no certainty — only preparation, instinct and decisions made on the water.

Our approach:

  • a strong plan for pike and zander
  • perch based on last year’s experience
  • staying flexible

Day 1 – focus on pike and the first important points

The first day started with a clear focus: catching pike.

Action came quickly, but so did the first setback:

  • first pike lost
  • missed chance

Fortunately a fish soon followed on the scoreboard: a pike around 80 cm.

Not the biggest, but important for confidence and points.

After that:

  • several small pike
  • constant pressure to upgrade
  • an unexpected bycatch (rudd)

At the end of the day, one more important fish came in: our first perch.

That brought us closer to a full card.

Day 2 – zander explosion and filling the card

Day two started with a new plan: fill out perch, then target zander.

What followed was exceptional: a real zander action period.

  • multiple fish
  • card filled quickly
  • but mostly smaller sizes

Strong points:

  • consistent catches
  • effective technique
  • switching quickly

Still, one problem remained: our perch card wasn’t complete yet.

Which meant everything would depend on day three.

Day 3 – everything on perch for a full card

The final day of the PredatorTour 2025 revolved entirely around one goal:

fishing a full card

That means:

  • catching the missing perch
  • performing under pressure
  • fishing spot by spot

Strategy:

  • hitting many spots
  • short sessions per location
  • reacting to activity

And good news came quickly: the first big perch of the day.

Just one fish away from a full card.

Pressure, missed chances and the reality of tournament fishing

As is often the case in tournaments like this:

  • fish suddenly stop biting
  • chances get missed
  • pressure increases

The final hours became: pure stress, maximum focus, every bite counts.

A missed fish can be the difference between an average and a strong final ranking.

Final moments of PredatorTour 2025

At the end of the day, one more nice pike came in:

  • caught on light tackle
  • a strong fight
  • a great way to close things out

But more importantly: this was the end of the PredatorTour 2025.

A tournament full of chances, mistakes, adjustments, and valuable lessons.

PredatorTour 2025: what we learned

After three days of tournament fishing, a few things are clear.

1. Perch remains the toughest factor

You can plan all you want, but perch stays unpredictable.

2. Zander is our strength

When we find them, we can score and upgrade quickly.

3. A full card is the key to success

Without a complete card, you lose ground immediately.

4. Decisions on the water make the difference

Not preparation, but execution determines your result.
