February 26, 2019 Exceptionally warm day: With warm weather in the forecast, we decided to head to the Netherlands for a day. The goal was to go looking for the 3 usual predator fish species with the bellyboat. We especially knew that nice fat perch were active in the area. I myself went pelagic after the zander.

We quickly managed to welcome the first one onto our bellyboat. Fishing with big creature baits in particular can be very effective during this period, especially when presented very subtly and slowly.
